New Year's Eve Outfit Ideas!

Hi everyone!
I hope you all had a merry Christmas!
I know it's been a little while since I made my last blog post, but I'm back!
Today I'm going to be showing 3 New Year's Eve Outfit Ideas. Any of them would work for going to out to a party or just hanging out with your friends. Hopefully this will give you some fun outfit inspiration so, enjoy!

Outfit #1- Furry & Fun
This first outfit mixes patterns by incorporating fur, plaid and glitter all in one. This outfit is definitely for the adventurous girl who isn't afraid to take outfit risks.

Vest- Forever 21
Flannel- Target
Jeans- Old Navy
Shoes- Payless
Belt-Target
Watch- Target
Bracelets- H&M

Outfit #2- Preppy & Playful
Out of all 3 outfits, this one most portrays my style. I love wearing sweaters over collared shirts. And I adore this bubble necklace. This outfit is for the girl like me, who likes to look a little dressed up and very put together.

Denim Shirt- Urban Outfitters
Sweater- H&M
Jeans- Old Navy
Shoes- Sperrys
Necklace- J. Crew

Outfit #3- Sophisticated & Sleek
This outfit is definitely the most dressy of the 3. It features a sleek blazer and glittery gold clutch. This outfit would work great for the mature & professional girl and would look amazing at a party or any event.

Dress- Forever 21
Blazer- Forever 21
Shoes- Marshalls
Clutch- Victoria's Secret
Watch- Target
Bracelet- I'm not sure!
Necklace- Forever 21

That was all of my New Year's Eve Outfit Ideas! I hope this post gave you some ideas and maybe even gave you some excitement for the big day! Have a great week everyone! Happy Holidays!

Cami's Christmas Countdown #3: A Beginner's Guide to Makeup.

Hi everyone!
So on today's post of Cami's Christmas Countdown, I set up a list of tips and tricks for makeup beginners. Although this post isn't really Christmas related, I figured this post was a necessity to make so that some of you don't make the mistakes I did when I first started out. (Helloooo blue eyeshadow)

Tip #1: Stick to Neutrals
When first starting out with makeup, you can feel overwhelmed with all the color options. As fun as the blue or purple eyeshadow may seem, I recommend you don't wear them. Colored eyeshadow a are really hard to work with, especially for a beginner.

Tip #2: DON'T fill in your eyebrows
I really wish someone would've warned me about this one. I'm guessing that if you're a makeup beginner, then you're probably fairly young so your eyebrows probably don't need much filling in. Filling in your eyebrows can be tricky because they can get too dark very quickly. (I have my 8th grade yearbook photos to prove it) So I'd recommend just not filling them in at all.

Tip #3: Don't use foundation when you don't need it
Again with what I said with the last tip: if you're young you probably don't need foundation. Do not apply it if you don't need it because it will look unnatural and cakey. If you feel as though you do need foundation, have your parents help you get the right color for you so that you don't end up with orange streaks on your face...just like I did.

How To Apply Foundation: Brush, Sponge, or Fingers

Tip #4: Listen to other's recommendations
This is a tip I still follow even though I'm not necessarily a makeup beginner anymore. When you're first starting out (or if you're a pro) listen to what others have to say about products so that they can lead you in the right direction. By following this tip, you can discover amazing products and keep yourself from wasting your money on disappointing ones. Whether it be recommendations from YouTube videos or a friend, listen to what they have to say because it can really help you out.

That's all for my makeup beginner's tips! I hope you all learned something from this (and learned from my mistakes) Thanks for reading! And happy holidays!

Cami's Christmas Countdown #2: Holiday Room Tour!

Hi everyone!
So it's officially December!
And, as it's the first of the month, it's also my birthday! Yay!
So continuing on with my Christmas series, I decided I would show you all how I decorated my room for the holidays. It was so much fun to do and it really put me in the Christmas spirit. Enjoy!

First off, I added a wintry garland to my headboard and I decked it out with a giant red bow.

I then added a festive and fun holiday pillow to my white bedspread.

I brought in a mini Christmas tree and decorated it with bulbs, snowflakes and pine cones.

Of course, I had to have a holiday candle. This one is a soy candle that smells like Christmas cookies. (YUM!)

Obviously, my curtains aren't really Christmas colors, so to make them more festive, I made a garland of paper snowflakes.

Lastly, I hung a Christmas wreath above my closet door.

And ta da! That's how I decorated my room for the holidays! I love how it looks and it looks even more amazing when you turn your lights off and the only things glowing are the little bulbs. I would LOVE to see how you decorated your rooms for the holidays so leave me a picture in the comments below or tag me in a photo on Twitter! I hope you have a great week! Let the countdown to Christmas begin! 25 days! Bye!
