3 Beauty Trends That Passed WAY Too Quickly! ♡

Hello everyone! Today's post is going to be about the trends that I enjoyed and feel like passed too fast. Too you, these trends might not really be "out" but I mean these trends just aren't all the rage any more. So let's get started!

Feather Hair Extensions:
This is a major one for me because I loved feather hair extensions. It was so fun to add just a subtle touch of spunk to your hair. I feel like these were such a good alternative to hair dying because they cause no harm to your hair and you can have them taken out whenever you like. I really miss this trend and hope it will come back another time!

Denim Vests:
Okay, this is one that some might argue are still in, but now the trend has kind of been taken over by Denim shirts and sweaters. It has come back in style in the past couple years and was a really cool layer to add to outfits.  I really enjoyed this trend because it was fun to add an edgy vest to plain outfit and spice it up. I hope this trend comes back and doesn't last for only a couple months again.

Off the shoulder Tops:
This one was originally in style in the 80's and came back again in the past year or two. Although it's still okay to wear, it's past it's prime as being a major trend. Now crop tops and three-quarter sleeve tees have sort of taken it's place, but I have a feeling this trend will come back again in the future.

I hope you enjoyed this post! It's not anything I've done before, but I felt like I should write you guys a blog post tonight, so here it is! I don't know about you, but this week went by really slow to me and I'm so glad it's the weekend. Happy Friday! Enjoy your weekend!

Spring Trend Alert: Polka dots!

Hi everyone! It's time for another Spring Trend Alert! This time I'll be sharing one of my favorite spring trends with you; Polka dots!
1: Sophisticated and Stylish- This outfit is more on the fancier side and it looks very put together. I started with a slim fitting polka dot shirt and added some bright yellow skinny jeans to add color to the outfit. I then paired it with metallic loafers and a black clutch. This outfit would be great for a dinner party or any nighttime event.

2: Cute and Easy- This outfit is pretty casual and would be great for those very warm spring days. I started with a basic coral crop top and added high waisted polka dot jeans. (How cute!?) I then paired it with mint flower studs and finished it off with an adorable pair of crochet Toms. This outfit would be great for hanging out with your friends or attending a casual event.

3: Preppy and Girly- This outfit is probably my favorite, just because it's closest to my own style. I started with this amazing, polka dot dress and it's very flattering because of the belted waist. I then added nude bow flats and topped it off with the most adorable coral messenger bag. This outfit would be great for date or just an evening dinner.

I hope you enjoyed this post and possibly gave you some outfit ideas for spring. Oh, and Happy St. Patrick's Day! (I hope you're wearing green!) Have a great rest of your weekend! Bye!

Fashion Finds: J. Crew

Hi everyone! Today's post is about one of my favorite stores: J. Crew! I decided I would do a couple posts about different stores to let you all of you know about what amazing things each store is holding! So let's get started!

The best part about J. Crew I would have to say are their timeless pieces. Take this top for example. It has beautiful colors that are pleasing to the eye and it has stripes, which is a trend never going out of style. J. Crew has many tops similar to this, with big, fun, colorful patterns and an easy feel.
(J. Crew Factory Colorblock Stripe Tee, Was $45.00 Now $20.00 ((For a limited time)) www.jcrew.com)

Collection cashmere polka-dot sweater
Another great thing about J. Crew is how good the quality of their pieces are. If you go into a J. Crew store, you will notice how thick and well made their pieces are. Many of their items are made of cotton, cashmere, and even silk. If you invest in these pieces, they are very likely going to last you a long time because of their amazing quality.
(J. Crew Collection Cashmere Polkadot Sweater, Was $268.00 Now $139.99 ((For a limited time)) www.jcrew.com)

Factory resin droplet necklace

Aside from clothing, J. Crew also has amazing jewelrey, shoes and other accesories. This is one of their most popular necklaces and I also love it! It is a big and chunky and also comes in 5 other fun colors! You really can't go wrong with pieces like this because they're well made and are sure to with many different outfits.
(J. Crew Factory Resin Droplet Necklace, Was $88.00 Now $64.50 ((For a limited time)) www.jcrew.com)

Pros: J. Crew has timeless, well made pieces that will last you a long time and will never go out of style. They also use many bright, fun colors and high class fabrics that are very comfortable.

Cons: J. Crew can be very expensive. I must admit some of their pieces are very overpriced, but that's why I reccomend checking out their sale section online and in stores because they have many great deals that are major bargains.

I hope you found this post helpful and I will probably write posts about other favorite stores of mine. Remember that all opinions are my own and that these are just things I've noticed after owning J. Crew pieces. Have a great rest of your Sunday! Bye!

My Weekly Loves! March 3- March 9 ♡

Hello there, lovelies! This week I have tried new products that I am so excited to share with all of you! Let's just get started...now!

This. Nail Polish. Is. Amazing! I've been wanting a chunky glitter polish for  a while, but could never find the right one.. until I found Essie's "Set in Stones." It is a gorgeous chunky silver glitter polish and look great on its own or on top of another color. This has lasted on my nails for the past week and has still hardly chipped at all! (Essie 'Luxeffects' Set in Stones, $8.00, Ulta stores and www.ulta.com)

I cleaned out my makeup collection recently and realized I have close to no blushes! So I decided I would buy one and I picked out this Elf Studio Blush in "Tickled Pink." It is a very shimmery light pink color and looks great on your skin. It is very pigmented a leaves a great, long lasting, color. The best part? It's only $3!
(Elf Studio Blush 'Tickled Pink', $3.00, Target stores and www.target.com)

My last weekly favorite is: a song! I recently got Ed Sheeran's Cd and have been LOVING his song "The A-Team." If you haven't heard it, you have to check it out. He has a great voice and many of the songs on his album are great, but this is my favorite. Also, he is opening for Taylor Swift on her RED tour this year and I can't wait to see both of them in concert this summer! You can see the Youtube video for "The A-Team" HERE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAWcs5H-qgQ

That's it for this week's Weekly Loves! I hope you all enjoyed this post and found it helpful. Today I picked up a couple new beauty products which may appear in next week's post. I guess you'll have to wait and see! Have a great rest of your weekend and I'll talk to you all again soon! Bye!

Spring Trend Alert: Neon's!

Hello lovelies! It's time for another edition of Spring Trend Alerts! Sorry that I didn't post a Weekly Loves this week, I started a post and couldn't finish and I figured now it was too late to post it so I''ll just skip this week. This post is about one of my favorite spring trends: neon's  It's so bright and fun, I just feel so happy when I wear it! So let's get started!
1- Glam and Stylish: I am obsessed with this outfit and it screams spring and summer to me. I started with a neon peplum top and added dark skinny jeans. To glam it up, I added nude wedges and colored earrings to give the outfit a little more volume. This outfit would be great for a nice lunch or a party.

2- Cute and Comfy: This outfit look put together, but is so easy and comfy! I started with a neon pink skirt, which I love because of the color and because it has a zipper down the front which is very flattering. I added a basic polka dot shirt to it and black loafers. To give it an extra touch, I added an adorable, sparkly anchor necklace. This outfit would be great for a picnic, a casual date or even for a normal day at school.

3- Cool and Breezy: This outfit reminds of the beach. It shows that you can include neons in not only in clothes, but in your accesories, too! I started with this blue, light flowy shirt and paired it with cute denim shorts. I added the gorgeous neon bag and these adorable bow sandals. (Can we all just take a moment and discuss how gorgeous these are?!) And then you have a perfect, laid back spring outfit that would be great for a day at the beach or spending time with your friends.
(Hollister blouse, Hollister denim shorts)

I hope you all enjoyed this post and keep an eye out for more Spring Trend Alerts; there are lots more coming soon! Have a great rest of your Thursday and happy almost Friday! Bye!
