Nail Polish for New Years Eve!

Hi everyone! I hope all of you had a great Christmas! (Or Hannukah or Kwanza!) Now we all start to think about the ball dropping and the new year beginning, so I have brought to you my favorite nail polishes for New Years Eve! Enjoy!
The first one is "Sparkle- Icious" from Opi. From faraway, it looks like a shimmery bronze color, but up close, you can see flecks of bronze, yellow, pink and blue. This would be a gorgeous color to wear and sparkle is always a go-to on New Years Eve.
(Opi Sparkle-Icious, $8.00, www.opi.com)

I love this color from Essie. It is called "Butler Please" and is a beautiful royal blue color. I love this because it is so unexpected and it will make your nails stand out in a crowd.
(Essie Butler Please, $8.00, www.essie.com)

Now I know that Hot pink is very expected, but this one from Butter London is spectacular! This is in the color "Primrose Hill Picnic." This color would be perfect for going out with friends and then going to watch the ball drop. It shows that you're not afraid of bright colors and that you can totally rock them.
(Butter London Primrose Hill Picnic, $14.00, www.butterlondon.com)

I hope you all enjoyed this post and that you like my ideas for great New Years Polishes! Have a great day! Bye!

Last Minute Holiday Gift Guide! ❄

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a little while, but it's ALMOST CHRISTMAS! I'm so excited to spend the holidays with my family. Today's blogpost is a Last Minute Holiday Gift Guide just incase you still need to buy a little gift for your friend, mom, sister.. etc.
Look at how cute this bracelet is! It's from Baublebar and it is rose gold colored. I love this because it's very dainty, but still has lots of sparkle. I also have been loving the rose gold trend so this would be a great gift to give to any girl who loves accesories.
(Rosegold Disco Wrap, www.baublebar.com, $22)
This is the travel sized roll bottle of the Marc Jacobs perfume. Travel sized perfumes are a great thing to keep in a purse or in a makeup bag while travelling.  This is a very popular scent and it's a very sweet smell, this would be a perfect gift to give to the perfume-loving ladies.
Daisy by Marc Jacobs Rollerball trio, www.sephora.com, $38)

This is a less expensive gift option if you just need a small gift or a stocking stuffer to give to someone. These socks are from Bath & Body Works and they are very soft and snuggly. They are fused with shea butter and have tiny grips on the bottom to keep you from sliding. They come in lots of holiday patterns and prints, but I personally like these because they could work year-round.
(Red Striped Shea Infused Socks, www.bathandbodyworks.com, $7.50)

The last gift idea I have is to Make It Yourself! The internet is jam-packed with cool DIY gift ideas and I reccomend www.pinterest.com because this site has got the coolest, niftiest, most original craft ideas I've ever seen! Check it out and I'm sure you'll find some great gift ideas for everyone on your list.

Weekly Loves- Twilight, lotion & Chex Mix?!

Hi everyone! Sorry I am behind on my weekly loves post- again! But I am here now to tell you about my favorites of the week! So lets get started!
I just saw this movie and I absolutely LOVED it! It was definitely my favorite one in the whole series! I won't give any spoilers, but I have to say I was so suprised by it! I definitely didn't expect what happened.. If you haven't seen in yet, you need to! It was simply incredible.

I recently bought this from Bath & Body Works and I love this lotion! I know Sweet Pea has been at B&BW for a while now, but I just smelt it for the first time and it smells so good! The scent is very sweet and has a strong floral smell.
(Sweet Pea Travel Size Body Lotion, $5.00, Bath & Body Works stores and www.bathandbodyworks.com)

Ok, so I know this a little strange for a weekly favorite, but I have been loving this Chex Mix! It is chex covered in peanut butter, chocolate, and powdered sugar (so practically puppy chow) and it is so delicious. It is very sweet and is a great treat.
(Chex Mix Muddy Buddies, $2.88, Walmart)

I hope you all had a great weekend and that you enjoyed this post! Bye!

Winter Essentials!

Hi everyone! So sorry I didn't post at all this week! I have been super busy and went on a small trip for my birthday, but now I'm back and ready to blog! I saw on elleandblair.com they had a Winter Essentials post, so I decided I would make my own! So here it is!
This first look is just comfy-cozy for winter. It features a slouchy, oversized sweater, black leggings, an infinity scarf, brown leather lace up boots and a brown leather cross-body bag. This look would be perfect for cold days where you want to bundle up (but stay cute!) before leaving the house for some errons or a cup of coffee.
(Beige Long sleeve Deer print Loose pullover sweater, $32, www.sheinside.com, Lysse Leggings Black leggings, €56, pamelascott.ie, Start with the Basics Scarf in Mustard, $25, www.modcloth.com, Taupe Faux Leather Lace up Fold over Combat Boots, www.pinterest.com, Brown Vintage Shoulder Bag, $41, www.udobuy.com)
This second look is a little fancier than the first look. It features a sheer, button down shirt, a pair of black jeans, suede black heels, a red shoulder bag, and a gold heart ring. The red purse adds a fun, unexpected pop of color which is adorable! I wouldn't say this is a full on party look, but you could wear it to a dinner or even to a day at the office.
(A.L.C. Gillian Blouse, www.farfetch.com, Maison Martin Margiela 1 Womens Five Pocket Jeans, $438, www.ln-cc.com,Giuseppe Zanotti Suede Exaggerated-Platform Slingback Black, $750, www.bergdorfgoodman.com, Chanel Quilted Red Leather Hangbag, www.chanel.com, Gold heart ring, $40, www.jcrew.com)

This last look is edgy and girly at the same time. It features a lace cream, belted dress, a brown leather jacket, brown leggings, heeled boots and a velvet red clutch. The dress topped with a leather jacket has a very cool feel and is an alternative from the typical sweater.
(Love Milly Cream Sleeveless Lace Dress, www.awear.com, Leather Biker Jacket, $398, www.levi.com, Woolrich Womens Holly Spring Leggings, $59, www.woolrich.com, Brown Leatherette Chunky Heel Mid Boots Shoes, $63, www.udobuy.com, Karen Millen Satin & Suede Clutch, $99, www.karenmillen.com)

I hope you all enjoyed this Winter Essentials post! I spent a lot of time and had a lot of fun making it! What are your Winter Essentials? Bye!

My weekly loves/ Black Friday Deals!

Hi everyone! I hope you had a great week! After all, it was Thanksgiving and Black Friday (today!)! I did not try many new products like last week, but here's a roundup of some of my favorite things I've been eyeing for a few weeks and my Black Friday reccomendations!

I was at Ulta today and I smelt this for about the 3rd time and I just love it! I own the original Wonderstruck Eau de Parfum and I wear it every day. This scent smells a little sweeter than the original, but it's still smells amazing (and you know I love Taylor Swift)!
(Wonderstruck Enchanted Eau de Parfum, $49.50, Ulta stores and www.ulta.com)

I got this nail polish at Ulta today and it is gorgeous! It is a dark, dark blue color with blue and green sequins! This is a great winter color and is a beautiful glitter color.
(Hide and Go Sequins nail polish, $4.00, (Ulta stores and www.ulta.com)

Okay, now for the Black Friday part of this post!
So today is Black Friday (as you probably already know) and I got up at 5:00 am this morning to go shopping. I went to Younkers, Target, Ulta and a few other stores and got some really great deals. Ulta was having a $5 for 5 items sale, which I always love. I also reccomend www.modcloth.com because they are having a great Black Friday Sale today only!
Hope you enjoyed this post! Bye!

♡ Happy Thanksgiving! ♡

Hi everyone! Happy Thanksgiving! May all of you have a great day filled with family, friends, and fun. (Not to mention yummy food!) I've chosen this photo to post because I've loved watching Peanuts for as long as I can remember. It's such a happy show that I watch during any holiday. (Last night the Thanksgiving episode was on ABC.)

I think the most important thing is to be thankful for what you have. I hope all of you have a great day! Bye!

My Weekly loves: Makeup, candles & more!

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a splendid week! I don't know about you, but this week went by pretty slow to me. But it's okay because now I get to write My Weekly Loves post! (And it's Friday!) I can't remember the last time I've tried so many new products in one week! Some makeup, so B&BW.. so let's get started!
This the Maybelline BabyLips Lip balm. It is a tinted moisturer that is just amazing! It rolls on really smooth and comes in gorgeous colors! The one I got is in Pink Punch and is a pretty light pink color. These also come in red, maroon and clear. These leave your lips so moisturized and the color lasts for hours! Overall a really great lip balm.
(Maybelline Pink Punch BabyLip lip balm, $2.99, Target stores & www.target.com)

I just noticed that both these products I'm reviewing are from Maybelline! Okay, so this is the Maybelline Falsies mascara in the color 280 Blackest Black. I've noticed that all of the Youtube Beauty Gurus I follow have talked about this in some of their videos, so I just had to try it! It makes your lashes look gorgeous and very long. It is such a pretty mascara and only requires 1 coat!
(Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Mascara, $6.99, Ulta stores & www.ulta.com)

This is the last new product I have tried this week and it is probably my favorite! This is the Leaves candle from Bath & Body Works! I have heard so praise for this candle. Every I <3 Fall Tag I watched on Youtube had this listed as their favorite fall candle. I went to Bath & Body Works a few months ago to get this candle and they were completely sold out of every candle, soap, and hand sanitizer of this scent. But a few days ago, I saw on the Bath & Body Works website that they had this candle in, but only in the small size. I bought it just so I could have the Leaves candle and I love it! It is probably my favorite scent from Bath & Body Works ever. It smells so good I didn't want to burn it at first. Long story short, I am in love with this candle.
(Leaves 4 oz. candle, $9.50, www.bathandbodyworks.com)

I hope all of you enjoyed this Weekly Loves post and I hope all of you have a great weekend! Bye!

Must have shoes for Fall/Winter!

Hi everyone! Todays post is your must have shoe guide for fall & winter! Incase your not a shoe-a-holic like I am, this is just some simple basics that will give you some ideas of what shoes will be fitting for the colder months.
Cute ballet flats- Yes, I know you've seen these before, but I love them so much, they had to be included again. Any cute ballet flats would do, but I especially love these from Sole Society. They are adorable for fall! They come in many colors, but my absolute favorite is the mustard yellow color. These would look great with an over sized cardigan or a skirt and wool tights.
(Bow ballet flats, $49.95, www.solesociety.com)

Mocasins- Mocassins are the perfect shoe for late fall and throughout the winter. They are super comfy and will keep your feet warm. You can wear them barefeet or with your most adorable socks. I love these gray ones from Minnetonka and they are super cute!
(Women's gray moccasins, $36.95, Minnetonka)

Toms- Toms are great for every month of the year, but this pair with wool lining is perfect for winter! These have a cute multi-colored knit outside and a beige wool lining inside. They will keep your feet warm and will go with any color coat you wear! Also, Toms have a great philosphy: For every pair that is bought, they will send a pair of Toms to a child in need.

(Multi Knit Women's Classics, $54, www.toms.com)

Warm boots- Everyone needs a pair of warm, faux fur boots for winter. I love this pair from Ugg Australia because they are super cute and are very warm. They have an adorable button clasp and come in so many colors- Aruba blue, Navy, Sugar Plum and Sand (As seen above) These are a perfect go-to shoe for those days that feel just too cold to go to school or work.
(Women's Bailey Button Uggs, $165, www.uggaustralia.com)

I hope you all enjoyed this post and have a great rest of your weekend!

My weekly loves: Perfume, mascara and greeting cards!?

Hi everyone! It's the end of the week, so you know what time it is: My Weekly Loves! This week I admit I have not tried many new things (maybe one or two), and I also rounded up some of the things that I've loved for a long time now.
This is from the Signature Vanillas Bath & Body Works line and it is the Cherry flavor. This was the very first Bath & Body Works body spray I ever tried and I love it! I just started using it again and it  smells so good! I know it's not really a winter scent (at all), but I think I'll still use this a little while longer. I just put a little on every morning and it leaves a nice, fruity, summer-y scent on all day.
(Signature Vanillas Cherry 8 oz., $12.50, Bath & Body Works)

This is the Ulta Voluptous Volume Mascara and this is my favorite mascara I have ever tried! It lengthens your lashes so well and it looks very glamorous. It also does not clump and it stays on for hours looking just a good as when you applied it. I love this mascara so much, I'm on my second tube of it.
(Voluptous Volume Mascara, $10.00, Ulta stores & www.ulta.com)

Look at how cute these cards are! They have beautiful sayings and gorgeous covers. The best part? They're by Taylor Swift! That's right, she has a selction of cards at Target that are adorable! Each one is fully colored and some even have glitter covers! Target carries a very large selction and there are probably more then a dozen to choose from for birthdays, Mothers day, and special occasions. I love these greeting cards so much!
(Taylor Swift card, $2.99, Target)

I hope you all enjoyed this post because, as usual, it was very fun to put together! One more thing, in my last post I picked my favorite coats for winter and just today Blair Fowler had a very similar post on Elle & Blair.com. If you want to check her Fall Coat Guide out; here is the link: http://elleandblair.com/blog/post/tgif-my-fall-coat-guide Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend!

Cute Coats for Winter!

Hi everyone! It is now November whick means (yikes!) it is getting close to winter. I don't know about you, but I hate having to put on my giant winter coat that makes me look like a marshmallow. So I have been looking online and have found the best winter coats that will keep you warm, but are totally cute.

This coat is from Urban Outfitters and it is amazing! From the front, it looks like your normal pretty peacoat, but from the back its.. KAPOW! And you see these gorgeous pleats. I love this coat because it will be super comfy and warm, but it shows people you aren't ready to turn in your trendy clothes just because its cold outside.
(Pins and Needles Pleated Back Coat, $129.00, www.urbanoutfitters.com)

This coat is stunning! It is a long Turquoise coat with a cheetah print collar. I love this because it is very unexpected and it shows your glam side. This would look great whenever you need to dress up during those harsh winter months.
(DV by Dolce Vita Faux Fur Collar Coat, $189.00, www.urbanoutfitters.com)

This coat is a long slender pea coat from Old Navy. It is a classic pea coat with a faux fur collar and is a very elegant option. Its shape looks very flattering for any body type and you could wear this coat with jeans or a fancy dress and heels- it's very versitile!
(Womens Wool-Blend Faux Fur Collar Coat, $60.00, www.oldnavy.com and in stores)
This is a beautiful coat from Modcloth. It is a long, slendering coat with a cinched waiste and a flaired skirt. It comes in this gorgeous plum color and bold black and silver clasps. This coat would be a major attention grabber and look effortless, yet sophisticated.
(Plenty by Tracy Reese Plum Becomes You Coat, $327.99, www.modcloth.com)
Winter Outerwear - British Breakfast Jacket in Olive
This is a military inspired jacket from Modcloth. I love jackets like this because they have both a tomboy and a girly flaire. This has large gold buttons, a flaired hem, and a structured collar. This coat would look great for any occasion and will definitely spice your outfit up.
(British Breakfast Jacket in Olive, $79.99, www.modcloth.com)

I hope you all enjoyed this post! Have a wonderful week! Bye!

My weekly loves: Lip balm, makeup wipes & more!

Hi everyone! So it's almost the end of the week, so I figured I'd write my "Weekly Loves" post today since I will be pretty busy tomorrow. This week I have been loving certain beauty products, so I'll tell you all about them!
I love eos lip balms. They work so well and they all smell amazing, not to mention 95% organic! They come in so many flavors: Mint, Lemon Drop, Strawberry Sorbet, Honeysuckle Honeydew & more! This week I have been using my (favorite) Summer fruit one alot. I love how it doesn't clump up or get on the outside of your lips. You just simply twist off the cap and roll on. So cool!
(EOS Organic Lip Balm Sphere- Summer fruit, $2.99,Target stores and www.target.com)
Before this summer, I would only use the Neutrogena makeup removing wipes. But then I tried the Yes to Cucumber facial wipes and I love them! Unlike the Neutrogena wipes, these don't leave a shiny residue on your face and they smell amazing! They are good for sensitive skin and these towlettes clean your skin and remove your makeup! I will never go back to the Neutrogena wipes after trying these.
(Yes to Cucumber face towlettes, $2.99, Target stores and www.target.com)
Yesturday, for Halloween, I was incharge of curling my friends' hair. I brought this curling iron and it worked amazing. This is my favorite curling iron I've ever had. It makes beautiful curls and they stay in for hours without any hair spray. It heats up super fast and comes with heat protectant gloves to keep you from burning yourself. I love it!
(Remington textured curling iron, $19.99, Target and www.target.com)
Yes, I know this is not a beauty product, but I had to include it in this weeks' post. Just this week I have started watching the first season of Pretty Little Liars. (Yes, I am a tad late.) And I love it! It is so intriguing and mysterious and you cannot stop watching it. It is a little spookier than what I normally watch, but I still think it is amazing and I can't wait to watch more episodes.
(Pretty Little Liars Complete first season, $31.03, www.amazon.com)
I hope you all had an amzing Halloween and I hope you enjoy the rest of your week. As promised here is the link to Missglamoazzi's GIY Peter Pan Collar tutorial video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeCrjALFOgI&list=UU5zSySQab9SA6Wz569WDgqw&index=1&feature=plcp

TREND ALERT: Peter Pan Collars

Hi everyone! So lately I've been noticing that a lot of people are sporting peter pan collared shirts. A few days ago Missglamorazzi, one of my favorite Youtube Beauty gurus, posted this photo on instagram:

I was really excited because she said she was making peter pan collared neclaces which I think are SO cute! The best part? She said she'll be making a GIY (Glam It Yourself) video tutorial on how to make them! I will post the link to the video on my blog when she uploads it. So then she posted a picture of her finished product:

Isn't that so cute? I think they are adorable! They are such a vintage trend that looks adorable on t-shirts, dresses and sweaters! They are becoming a huge fall trend. Celebs seen rocking this look? Naya Rivera, Natalie Portman, Emma Watson, Ashley Tisdale & Taylor Swift! You can find this look at places such as Forever 21(www.forever21.com)  and Urban Outfitters (www.urbanoutfitters.com) . I hope you enjoy sporting this fall trend!

My weekly loves: toasty drinks, nail art & more!

Hi everyone! I hope all of you have had an amazing week! I have been so busy this week that I finally had the time to do some blogging. :) I actually tried to write this post earlier in the week, but my computer wasn't acting too well, so it wouldn't post. But here I am now, ready to share my weekly loves! So lets get started!
This week I have been drinking lots of hot chocolate! It's just starting to get colder where I live, so this has been my go-to drink. My absolute favorite is the Swissmiss Marshmallow Lovers. It is almost 100% caffeine free (which is good for a nighttime snack) and it has around 30 marshmallows in every serving! It is delicious and is perfect for those Marshmallow lovers out there.
($1.77, www.walmart.com and other grocery stores.)

Look at how cute these nails are! I found this idea from MissJenFabulous on Youtube. Her channel is great because she does LOTS of nail art tutorials, which I love! This was from her "Five Cute & Easy Halloween nail tutorials!" video. This was my favorite look of the 5 because these are just the most adorable little frankenstein nails and are perfect for Halloween time. I think I will be trying this very soon.

Of course I love Taylor Swift EVERY week, but this week in particular I have been very proud of her. If you are a Swiftie, you know her album RED came out this Tuesday. My faves on the album so far? "I knew you were trouble", "22", and "Begin Again." Her song "Red" is now #1 on iTunes in 40 countries! I am so proud of this girl and how far she has come.
(RED album, $14.99, Target. www.target.com)

I hope you all enjoyed this post because I had alot of fun writing it! Check back in next week for my next "Weekly loves" post! I hope you all have a great weekend! Bye!

Oversized sweaters trend!

This fall I've been noticing a new trend that has been recurring. Oversized sweaters. When you say that word most people might think of a large, chunky granny sweater. Not anymore! These oversized knits have been rockin' this fall. Especially long, thick ones that look great with black leggings, skinny jeans, fur boots and ballet flats. You can make this outfit sparkle by adding a dainty necklace or a cuff bracelet. Stars seen flaunting this trend are the Kardashian gals, Natalie Portman, and Vanessa Hudgens to name a few. You can find this current trend at Forever 21,Wildfox Couture, and Urban Outfitters. Shop them here at: www.forever21.com www.wildfoxcouture.com www.urbanoutfitters.com

My weekly loves!

Hi everyone! This week I have been LOVING fall items! Boots, scarves, candles... I've decided every week (I can) I will post a "weekly loves" post! It will just be an overview of the items I've been loving. So lets get started.

These bow flats are from Sole society. They are super adorable and come in many colors (bonus!) My favorite color is the mustard yellow color. I think they'd be great for fall and would make any outfit very cute and add a touch of color. ($49.95 www.solesociety.com)

This is a Yankee Candle in the Candy Corn scent. It smells DELICIOUS. I've been burning it in my bedroom and it smells exactly like real candy corn! It has a very strong scent, so if you love strong scents (like I do!)... Go get it! ($24.99 www.yankeecandle.com or in stores)

This is an Essie nailpolish in the color "Smooth Sailing." It is a shimmery, lavender blue color that I think is great for fall. This is the only Essie nail polish I own, but I love it so I think I'll be buying more in the future. ($8.00 www.essie.com or in select stores)
These are the Geirard Madden Girl lace up boots. They are super comfy, brown, leather boots. I have been loving wearing them because they make any outfit more edgy and they are the perfect fall leather boot. ($69.95 www.stevemadden.com and in select department stores)

I hope you enjoyed my post everyone and I hope you have a wonderful autumn week! <3
