Where Have I Been?

I'm back!
In case you're wondering where I've been, I just got back from vacation. I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. My laptop won't let me upload photos to my blog, so it's kind of pointless. However, you can expect a new blog post coming in the next few days.

Unfortunately for the blog, I'll be leaving on another trip in 5 days. Once I get back from that trip, though, you can expect my blog posts to be back on a daily schedule. Thanks for being patient and I can't wait to continue making new posts for you all. xx

Trend Alert: Heart Shaped Sunglasses♡

I'm assuming that most of you have probably seen Taylor Swift's most recent music video: "22."
And if you haven't... go watch it RIGHT NOW because it's amazing.
Anyways, the reason I'm mentioning this is because in the that video Taylor was wearing the now-famous heart shaped sunglasses and since then they've been popping up everywhere.

See what I mean? I mean she just makes them look so cool. Personally, I love this trend. I think it's so cute and I can't wait to try it myself.
Where can I get my own Heart Sunglasses like Taylor's?
Well, here of some of the places I recommend to get your own.

The Dead Look-Alike:
If you want a pair that look exactly like Taylor's than these are for you. (Urban Outfitters, Sweetheart Sunglasses, $14.)

The Less Dramatic Effect:
If you want to lightly try this trend and not fully cannonball into it, then these are the pair for you. (Urban Outfitters, Heart Breaker Sunglasses, $16.)

The Full Splash:
If you're a bold girl, and are willing to dive right into this trend, this colorful pair is for you. (Urban Outfitters, Rainbow Heart Breaker Sunglasses, $14. )

Favorite Tanks & Shorts Combos for Summer!

Summer is here.
Wait, what?
Summer is here.
Guys, guys, guys. I cannot even wrap my head around this yet. Spring came and went so fast and honestly this whole year went by so fast. It's crazy. Anyways, today I'm here to show you some of my favorite Tank and Shorts combos to wear during the summer. Let's begin!

1- This outfit is very laid back and casual. I started with this cropped California Tank and paired it with these bright blue high waisted shorts. I love the high waisted shorts because they are a huge trend for summer. This outfit would be great to wear to an amusement park or carnival because it's very hastle-free. (Tank-Billabong. Shorts-Topshop.)

2-This outfit is incredibly adorable and is a little bit more dressed up. I cannot stop fangirling over these shorts, can you? They are so cute! I love tie-dyed shorts like this and I've been wanting to make my own. With the shorts, I paired a simple graphic tee to not take attention away from the bright shorts. This would be cute to wear to a summer picnic or hanging out with friends. (Tank-Forever 21. Shorts-Pacsun.)

3-This outfit is very unexpected and even a little edgy. Okay, so here I included a trend that has been popping up like crazy lately. Pineapples. Pineapples. I do not even understand it. They're on everything all of a sudden. But I think it's cute, so I decided to included it in my last outfit. I paired the tank with these amazing distressed, studded shorts that instantly edge up any outfit. This would be great to wear to a summer concert. (Tank-H&M. Shorts-Etsy.)

I hope all of you enjoyed this post and I hope it gave you some outfit ideas for summer. Let me know in the comments below what your favorite summer trends are and I might just include them all in my next post. Have a great day, lovelies! I love you all. xx

May Favorites 2013!

I haven't blogged in almost a month.
I have no excuse.
Other then that I was sick for half of May and that I had no idea what to blog about.
But that doesn't count, does it?
Anyways, I am back (finally) and today I am doing my May Favorites Post! Let's get started!
Jergens Natural Glow Self Tanner
I have I had to pick ONE favorite product for the month of May, this would be it. I have been using this for about 3 weeks now and it is amazing. I am one of those naturally ridiculously pale people and I think I look better and healthier if I have a little bit of color. This stuff works gradually, so you can build it up to how tan you want to be. (Target, $9.99)

Nyx Black Eye/Eyebrow Pencil
I had been using my Rimmel London Eyeliner pencil for a while, but it just wan't cutting it any more. By the end of the day, it was leaving a large black streak in the crease of my eyelids and that is not a cute look. A worker at Ulta recommended this to me, so I tried it, and I love it! It's a super deep black color and it glides on easily. You do need a primer for it to really stay on all day, but with it, it looks incredible all day long. (Ulta, $3.99, Photo Credits to: www.indianbeautyforever.com)

Victoria's Secret Party Perfect Palette
A friend gave this to me a while back, and I just sort of pushed it aside, but I found it again recently and it is actually a great palette! The colors are very soft and creamy and the colors are very vibrant and pigmented. I've been using the white color all over my lid and in the inner corner and I've been using the light brown color in my crease. This has been my everyday go-to eye look. (Victoria's Secret, $13.00)

Silk Pure Almond Dark Chocolate Milk
I try to stick to mainly beauty & fashion on my blog, but I do have a rare food favorite. I went to the doctor last month for a physical and since I wasn't getting enough calcium, the nurse recommended this to me. Now I am not a fan of milk. I don't know why, I just don't like it. However, I love this stuff. It tastes so good and creamy and it's dark chocolate milk, so it's a super strong chocolate taste. The best part about this is that it has 50% more calcium than regular milk and tastes so much better! (Walmart, $3-5)

I hope you enjoyed this post, and please excuse my long absence of blogging. I promise I'll be back soon with new, exciting posts, so stay tuned. Today's my first day of summer, so I'm pretty excited. Here's cheers to an exciting, adventurous, fun Summer 2013 filled with great memories. Love you all! Bye! xx
