My Newest Beauty Secret! ♡

So recently, I had been having a problem with my hair.
It was always knotted.
And I don't mean the tiny, simply brush-through knots, they were large and impossible to get out.
And it only happened after I slept, so I was confused on how to prevent it from getting so knotted until I discovered this:
The secret is: scrunchies.
Yes, scrunchies.
But before you entirely exit out of this post right now, just let me explain myself.
Before I go to bed, I put my hair into two pigtails using scrunchies. It is far from attractive, but it keeps your hair from getting tossed around and scrunchies prevent your hair from getting pulled out like regular hair ties do. If you also have a problem with knots, try this trick out and let me know how it works for you because I swear by it now. Have a great day lovelies! Bye! xx

My Favorite Spring Nail Polishes! ♡

I am a nail polish JUNKIE.
I have way too many nail polishes.
Whenever a new one comes out, I HAVE to have it.
These are the polishes I picked out that are my favorite in the spring.
ENJOY! And let me know if you'd like me to do a summer version of this when it gets into the summer months.

Essie's Smooth Sailing-
This color is a lot lighter than it shows up on camera, but I'm not the best photographer so you know... it happens. This is a gorgeous periwinkle, purply-blue color and it has a bit of shimmer in it.

OPI's Nantucket Mist-
I haven't heard a whole lot of hype about this color and I don't see why! This is one of my favorite nail polish colors. Period. It is a matte coral color and it looks especially amazing with a tan. (Which if you know me, that doesn't really happen.)

Sinful Color's Mint Apple-
When I bought this, I assumed it was a matte mint green color, like Essie's Mint Candy Apple. But it's not. It  is shimmery. After a while though, I really liked the shimmer so now I love this color and it's PERFECT for spring.

Sally Hanson's Xtreme Wear Lacey Lilac-
Yes, ANOTHER purple color. But as you can see, this is very different from the first one. This is just the perfect lilac color and looks incredible on all skin colors. It is super versatile and makes me think of spring and the beautiful flowers.

Sally Hanson's Xtreme Wear Blue Me Away!-
This is a tropical, medium blue color that I love to use on my fingers and toes. This color is also one of my favorites for the summer and it's super bright and makes me happy to look at. :-)

Here some swatches of the colors you can more clearly see what they look like on your nails. I hope you enjoyed this post! I'm working on taking pictures for my blog, so I hope these turned out okay for you! Again, let me know if you'd like to a Summer Nail Polishes Favorites in a couple months. Have a great rest of your week. Bye! xx

My Drugtore Makeup Musthaves! ♡

Drugstore Makeup.
Great quality makeup for lower prices?!
I'm in!
Today I'm going to show you my drugstore makeup musthaves and the products I use everyday! So let's begin!

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream-
I love this stuff. In the winter I prefer foundation of heavier coverage, but in the spring and summer, I like lightweight products that won't weigh me down. Not to mention, this has 8 benefits for your skin, including SPF 30.

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer-
This is one of the better drugstore concealers you will find. It's best for the under eyes because it's a highlighting concealer, but it also works well for covering blemishes.

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara-
Another Maybelline product. As you can tell, I love Maybelline, but this is the only Maybelline mascara I've tried that I actually like. It has a relatively small brush, but it's great at getting to the smaller, inner lashes and it  doesn't clump.

Rimmel Special Eyes Precision Eyeliner-
(I just noticed this image is blurry, urgh!)
I randomly bought this on a whim one day and this is my favorite pencil eyeliner. First off, it's very inexpensive and it has great pigmentation. It also great at staying in place and never smudges. (What more could you ask for?!)

Ulta Blush-
Unfortunately, this blush has no name because I got it in an Ulta free-gift-with-purchase set, but I love it. It's a very natural rosy pink color that instantly brightens your face and lasts all day.

Revlon Lipbutter in Strawberry Shortcake-
You have probably already heard about these before and I am one of the last ones to jump on this bandwagon, but I too am another fan of the Revlon Lipbutters. They're beautifully pigmented and are more moisturizing than regular lipstick. This is my favorite shade because it's natural and great for everyday wear.

You probably noticed the light change in these pictures, sorry about that! The sun kept wanting to hide behind the clouds and today was my first attempt at taking pictures for my blog. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know if you'd like me to do a "Highend Makeup Musthaves." Have a great Friday! Bye! xx

Fashion Finds: Brandy Melville!

Hello lovelies! I know I haven't been around for a while, but I have been super, super busy and just haven't had time to sit down and write a post, but since I am home sick today, I figured there's no better time to sit down and write again. If some of you remember, I started this series where I introduce some of you to new stores I love, so I'm going to do that today and tell you about another amazing store; Brandy Melville!
The best part about Brandy Melville? Their incredible prices! They have so many great pieces for such an affordable cost! This skirt? $22! That's Forever 21 prices! But their pieces are even better made and they have such classic and edgy pieces. (Heather Skirt, $22.)

These tanks are another one of my favorite things at Brandy Melville. They have so many designs and styles to choose from and they're all so edgy and cute. You can choose to dress them up or down and they're simply must have pieces! My favorite styles are the Kate and Sadie. (Sadie Moon Tank, $20.)

Brandy Melville's sweater & knits are also amazing! Now I know a ton of people have this sweater shown, but this is one of my favorites! It's over sized and comfy and you can wear it with anything. In the fall, pair it with leggings and combat boots. And in the spring, pair it with a crop top and skirt. It's so versatile and is very well made. (Caroline Knit, $52.)

Pros: For well made edgy pieces that will last you forever, Brandy Melville is the way to go!

Cons: Brandy Melville only has stores in select cities, so if you don't live near any, it's kind of a bummer. (I have that problem!) However, they do have a great online store (which is what I use!) at www.brandymelivilleusa.com
I hope you all enjoyed this post and learned something about one of my favorite stores, Brandy Melville! Have a great week, bye! xx

Spring Trend Alert: Red, White & Blue! ★

Hi everyone! I'm aware that not all of you live in the United States, but a major spring trend is red, white and blue! (And of COURSE it's okay to rock the american flag even if you don't live here) So get ready for some stars and stripes in honor of the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Outfit #1- This out fit is very simple, but the bright shorts give it a pop! I started with this simple sheer blouse and paired it with this amazing pair of shorts. To not draw much attention from the shorts I added solid black fringe sandals and a simple stud bracelet from Bauble Bar.

Outfit #2- This outfit screams edgy to me. I started with this cropped tank and I love it because it's so laid back and you still get your stars and striped feel. I then paired it with these incredible pair of shorts! (Studs is another spring trend!) To finish it, I added a classic pair of red Converse and a gold stud bracelet.

Outfit #3- I have to say this is my favorite look. It's so classic and cool and I love the 80's shirt. I started with this really cool slouchy graphic tee and I paired it with light wash ripped jeans. To add your americana feel, I added this American flag printed bag which compliments the red on the tee. And I finished the look with, yes again, a classic pair of converse.

I hope you all enjoyed this post! I love making posts like these because I LOVE putting outfits together. Comment down below which outfit is your favorite! Have a great week! See you all soon! Bye! xx
