Spring Alert: Hello Yellows!

This spring you can expect to see a new color on the palette: Yellow! We expect to be seeing lots of yellow clothes and accesories in yellow this season. How to wear the fad? It's easy! 2012 Golden Globes: Best and Worst dressed!

Last night was the 2012 Golden Globe Awards! The stars there were rocking it, as usual. There were lots of black gowns, nude gowns, and some very surprising colored gowns, but shockingly there weren't as many red gowns this year. #1 we have is here is Sofia Vergara. The Modern Family actress rocked a custom-made peacock strapless mermaid gown. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of mermaid gowns, but I really liked this dress. There were so many details to it such as the piece knife-pleated bodice. This turquoise color was perfect for her hair and skintone. #2 is Ariel Winter. The Modern Family actress wore a Dolce and Gabbana dress. I liked the purple color of this dress, but I did not like the figure of it. It did not flatter her because it made her hips look wider then they really are. #3 is Angelina Jolie. The In the land of Blood and Honey director glowed in a Versace gown. This champagne color was great contrast with red collar. She styled it perfectly with bright red lips. And last is #4 who is Charlize Theon. The Young Adult actress wore a Dior Couture Gown, and this wasn't one of my favorites. The gown is too much like a mullet dress and the contrast between the front and the back of the gown was too much. The neckline plunged a little to deep and this color was too pale for her skin tone. Other stars that dazzled at the Golden Globes? Stacy Keibler, Lea Michele and Jessica Chastain.

This winter, we're taking things to the next level: classic sparkles. They are an instant attention grabber and are perfect for almost any occasion: work, dinner at a resturant, a party. We're all tired of the normal winter coats; the big, puffy ones that make you look like a giant marshmallow. (You all know what I'm talking about.) Accessories, Accessories, Accessories!

Now this has got to be one of my favorite topics: accessories! This is my accessory style guide for Fall 2011! This fall key items are mostly adorable old school classics! Oh yeah, we're talking about leg warmers, hair bows and of course the regular backpack (with a modern twist). Shown below are some of my fall favorites. First are just the simple Forever 21 Sequin Bow Pins($2.50). These go with literally any outfit and can add some girliness in a flash. Next is a favorite of mine that I actually own! It brightens up any outfit and it has this high end-looking persona that can't be beat! We also have another bag from Urban Outfitters: The Kimchi Blue Printed Floral Backpack($34.99). It will look perfect wherever you take it: School, work, or just an outing. It has a mix of tomboy sheek and girly glam which makes it absolutely pefect for everybody! Last, we have the Owl Clock Pendant from Forever 21($5.46). Owls are totally a big thing right now so this is totally a must have! What makes it even cooler is that it's not only a pendant, but also a small clock, which make it all the more sheek. I mean come on, who doesn't love vests? The problem is you can't ever find the right one, or the right time to where it, or what to pair it with.
